What are crop marks and how can I improve my final product by using them
juil. 10 , 2013
Often when people are designing a marketing piece or small sign they include crop marks in their program because they don’t understand their value. If something needs to be cut in part of the production process, using crop marks is a guide for the person cutting the piece to make sure it is presented as you wanted. They are also used for aligning front to back when printing double sided. Many printers don’t accurately line up the second side with the first when printing. Using crop marks gives the person running the machine guides to align when running the first proofs on a machine before printing the entire job.
